The enemy within?

I'm suspending political posts for awhile that criticizes the government as I'm getting tired of veiled threats from politicians, newscasters, political pundits, church people, shopkeepers, etc. that accuse me of being a spy, enemy combatant, why shouldn't I be put in prison?, constantly being spied on and reported to the spooks on my doings etc. because I refuse to join their 1984 army that all the citizens of this country seems to have done (along with all the criminals, drug gangs etc.) in their war against the rest of the world.  Maybe I'll write some stuff later on, but I much rather go the right way and to the stars than write about medieval castle holy wars or be punished for not thinking up more science breakthroughs so the rulers can be independent of all the other countries.  The WW2 pacifist Kenneth Patchen's book 'Sleepers Awake' for more.
